Responsibilities:
Revenue & Growth:
Own and deliver regional revenue targets across e-Auction (service charges) and Membership verticals.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of new clients through online research, field visits, and networking.
Ensure 100% renewal of existing client contracts and maintain long-term relationship continuity.
Actively identify, engage, and close deals with prospective buyers and sellers.
Meet annual targets broken down into quarterly, monthly, and weekly milestones.
Cultivate auction opportunities in new product categories: assess market demand, onboard buyers and sellers, and launch pilots to learn and establish new markets for the business.
Client & Auction Management:
Co-plan and oversee auction execution with clients, in close collaboration with the operations team.
Conduct regular market analysis to ensure benchmark pricing for sellers, buyers, and clients.
Address client needs proactively and resolve escalations quickly to maintain satisfaction and retention.
Plan, monitor, and optimize listed auctions to improve conversion rates.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and enable BD executives to achieve their qualitative and quantitative targets.
Set clear, streamlined processes for the team to consistently hit goals.
Distribute auction and business targets across the team; monitor progress and course-correct as needed.
Identify and develop future leadership talent within the team; delegate responsibilities to build capability.
Strategy & Market Intelligence
Track competitor activity and market trends; translate insights into actionable BD strategies.
Conduct field visits, gather market feedback, and share findings with senior leadership.
Work cross-functionally with marketing and operations to ensure seamless client experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Deep understanding of the industrial secondary products market, including auction mechanics and pricing dynamics.
Strong leadership and coaching skills — able to motivate a team and drive accountability.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Analytical mindset — comfortable using data to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and measure team performance.
Proficient with Excel, Google Sheets/Docs, Slack, and CRM platforms.
Willingness to travel for field visits and client meetings across assigned locations.
